EAST RUTHERFORD (Jan. 3, 2007) — Looking to spruce up your home? Make sure to stop in Counter Creations’ new show room located at 110 Hackensack St. in East Rutherford. Once you step in and see the low prices, you can be sure it will be your first and last stop.

Owner Michael Najda has been in the business of making, installing and selling custom counters and cabinets since 1988. He started the family-run business in 2001, originally concentrating on corporate accounts. At that time, he had just a South Hackensack-based factory. Several months ago, he branched out to homeowners and added the East Rutherford show room to display his custom work.

“I came to East Rutherford because I want to be in a smaller community. I want to be with the working people,” Najda said. “The location is excellent.”

Counter Creations sells and makes custom countertops and work surfaces for residential and commercial use, manufactures custom work surfaces in laminate and solid surface material, supplies fabricated solid surface and laminate products for kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities, bars, table tops, and shower walls, and they also manufacture high quality custom cabinets for bathrooms and kitchens with a wide variety of styles to choose from.

By manufacturing their own countertops and cabinets in their South Hackensack factory, Counter Creations essentially “cuts out the middle man,” while providing the consumer a factory direct price and saving the customer money.

Even if you’re not sure about design elements, materials or working within a budget, there is no need to worry. Najda has a designer on staff to help you create the look you’re after within your budget. Samples of different types of materials are available in the show room, and there’s a wide range to choose from: Meganite, Dupont Corian, Formica, Solid Surfacing, Wilsonart, Formica, Pionite, Nevamar and Laminate.

Counter Creations installs everything they sell and has partnered with professionals who handle plumbing, electronics and appliances who offer customers a discount. If a customer questions, Najda makes himself available all the time. “People don’t deal with a sales representative or a secretary; they can speak directly with me,” Najda said.

Counter Creations has a great repertoire with corporations such as Sanzari, the Meadowlands Race Track, Sun Chemical in Carlstadt, Eric Alt Salon in Wood-Ridge, Sirius Radio, local schools and hospitals and much more.
